1. Service provider and seller
DreamSense is supplied as an incubated information-technology product by Rikama Technologies FZE LLC, registration number 5009, registered in the United Arab Emirates at Ajman Media City Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates (“Rikama”, “we”, “us”).
Rikama is the contractual seller and Merchant of Record for paid DreamSense subscriptions. Rikama is responsible for checkout, subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, payment disputes and legally required transaction records.
The DreamSense product team operates the journal, automated interpretation features and product content. Privacy responsibilities for journal and AI-related data are explained separately in the Privacy Policy.
Stripe provides payment-processing technology and does not provide DreamSense reports.
2. Acceptance
These Terms govern the DreamSense websites, applications, reports, subscriptions and related services (“Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.
You must not use the Service if you do not agree.
3. Service description
DreamSense is a journaling and self-reflection product that can generate automated interpretations, summaries and pattern information from user-submitted dreams, emotions and life events.
Words such as “psychological”, “stress”, “analysis”, “pattern” and “Dream Stress Index” are product descriptions. They do not mean that DreamSense provides regulated psychological or medical services.
Automated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, speculative or unsuitable for your circumstances.
4. No medical or professional advice
DreamSense:
- does not diagnose, monitor, prevent or treat medical or mental-health conditions;
- is not a psychologist, therapist, doctor or emergency service;
- does not provide medical, therapeutic, legal, financial or other professional advice;
- is not clinically validated;
- must not be used for treatment, medication, safety or other significant decisions.
The Dream Stress Index is a subjective text-based product indicator, not a psychological test, diagnosis or medical measurement.
In an emergency, contact an appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.
5. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
You must not create multiple accounts to repeatedly obtain free benefits, promotional access or refunds.
6. Plans and pricing
Current features, limits, price, currency and billing interval are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.
Checkout is authoritative for:
- the amount charged;
- currency;
- applicable taxes;
- monthly or annual billing;
- included plan;
- next expected renewal.
7. Automatic renewal
Premium is a recurring subscription and renews until cancelled.
Before payment, the user must be shown:
- Rikama Technologies FZE LLC as seller;
- total price and currency;
- monthly or annual interval;
- automatic-renewal notice;
- cancellation method;
- Refund Policy;
- expected statement descriptor: DREAMSENSE.
Any price change applies only to a future renewal after reasonable prior notice.
8. Payment information
Payments are processed through Stripe. Rikama does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
Rikama may process payment and commercial information needed for subscriptions, receipts, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and legal compliance.
Dream entries and report content must not be sent to Stripe or included in payment metadata.
9. Cancellation
The subscription may be cancelled online through Account Settings or the Stripe customer portal.
Unless applicable law or the Refund Policy provides otherwise:
- cancellation stops future renewals;
- Premium remains available until the current paid period ends;
- cancellation does not automatically delete the DreamSense account or journal.
A cancellation confirmation must be displayed or sent by email.
10. Refunds
Refunds, billing errors, duplicate charges, unauthorised payments and service-delivery problems are governed by the Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
11. User content
Users retain ownership of dream entries, audio, transcriptions, life events, ratings and other submitted content (“User Content”).
User Content may be processed only as described in the Privacy Policy to provide requested features, secure the Service, provide requested support and comply with law.
Do not submit unnecessary identifying information about other people.
12. AI transparency
AI-generated reports must be clearly identified as automated output.
Users must be informed that:
- results can be inaccurate;
- results are for journaling and self-reflection;
- results are not diagnosis or professional advice;
- contracted technical providers may process submitted content as explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently;
- access another account;
- bypass payment, security or usage restrictions;
- upload malware;
- conduct unauthorised security testing;
- scrape or resell the Service without permission;
- abuse promotions, refunds or payment disputes;
- present AI output as professional diagnosis.
14. Intellectual property
User Content remains the user’s property.
The software, interface, branding, report structure and other product materials belong to Rikama, the DreamSense project or their licensors under their internal agreements.
The user receives a limited, personal and non-transferable right to use the Service.
15. Availability and changes
Uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider failures and security incidents may affect availability.
If a material paid function is not delivered as described, the user retains any remedy required by applicable law and the Refund Policy.
16. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to protect users, payments or the Service; investigate fraud or security incidents; comply with law; or address a serious breach.
Where practical, the user will be notified.
17. Limitation of liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud and mandatory consumer remedies.
For claims that may lawfully be limited, Rikama’s aggregate liability relating to the paid Service will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount paid to Rikama during the preceding 12 months; or
- USD 100.
This limitation does not reduce a mandatory refund or statutory remedy.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Ajman.
Subject to mandatory consumer law, the competent courts of the Emirate of Ajman have jurisdiction.
19. Changes
Material changes will be published with an updated date and, where required, reasonable prior notice.
